COFES 2010 (Day 2) – Maieutic Parataxis

Maieutic Parataxis is something that was introduced in COFES in 2008. Here is an explanation of what it is and a few examples. Basically, it is a series of short presentations not exceeding 5 minutes each, wherein the presenter puts forth an idea or a concept. As it is there is not much that you can explain in a 5 minute window. This task turns out to be more difficult if the idea or concept is completely new and unheard of by your audience, which is precisely the case in Maieutic Parataxis. And that is what makes it so interesting.

Here are some pictures. Click the images to open in a new window.
