Delcam To Use KeyShot For Rendering

In a press release issued today, Luxion announced that Delcam will use KeyShot as its rendering solution, initially for their Shoemaker Pro and Designer products, and then later for their other CAD/CAM products.

Delcam Shoemaker Pro is the company’s design solution for the footwear industry. Whereas Delcam Designer is a 3D modeling module for their ArtCAM Jewelsmith software.

Actually Delcam and Luxion have gotten into a bundling agreement rather than a licensing agreement. Keyshot will be installed as a standalone product along side Delcam products. Transfer of data from the CAD solution to the rendering solution will be more efficient and seamless.

All customers on maintenance will get the bundled version of Keyshot free of cost when its released later this spring.
