More Information On The ZWCAD-VX Merger

On 4th August I broke the news on this blog that ZWCAD had bought VX (see “Breaking News – ZWCAD Buys VX“). Here is some more information:

ZWCAD and VX Corporation are joining forces to create a new product line called ZW3D. The VX team in Florida will continue to develop the 3D CAD/CAM software as a division of ZWCAD. All VX products will be transitioned to ZW3D and all development will be devoted to this new product.

And those of you who thought that this was just a rumor, click the image below showing the footer of the VX web site.

    Hi Deelip,

It will interesting if you can review VX and its Graphics Performance. Also I am waiting your review about Shark…

    Thanks 🙂

  • I am waiting a response from the company regarding their optimal graphics settings.

    Hi Deelip,

BTW, We dont receive optimal graphics setting from SWX. I am curious what is the best setting to make it faster. In the series of graphics performance you use “solid” step. In my experience, it will different if you can use big surface from iges as object to test. If you have iges surface more than 40 Mb not every cad software can handle it. Even big cad vendor very worst in this area….

  • SolidWorks is yet to send me their optimal graphics settings.

This is not a comparison of data exchange capabilities of CAD systems.

BTW, you are commenting on the wrong thread.

    Hi Deelip,

My point is every cad software have different performance on handling surface model.

I am apologize to post this on the wrong place….

    Thanks 🙂
