News Alert – TurboCAD Competitive Upgrade Saves $700

IMSI/Design has a Competitive Upgrade offer running by which an existing CAD user can get a new license of TurboCAD 17 for less than half the price. The retail price is $1295 and Competitive Upgrade Price was $700. Today they dropped it down a further $100 resulting in a total savings of about $700 – a whopping 54% discount.

To qualify for this offer you need to have one of the CAD systems listed on this page on the your computer. Apparently, the TurboCAD 17 installer will actually check if one of these products are installed before installing itself. And by some remote chance if you do not have any of these CAD systems installed on your computer (1) I guess you can always download and install one of the trials of these competitive products; and (2) I am not sure why you are reading this blog in the first place.

Anyways, I didn’t know that TurboCAD was competing with SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor and Pro/ENGINEER. And somebody please tell IMSI/Design that Kubotek’s main CAD system is KeyCreator, not CADKEY. Unless TurboCAD is now competing with CADKEY Wireframe.
