Vectorworks 2012 Virtual Event

Nemetschek has announced that its Vectorworks 2012 virtual event will be held on September 13 to 16 2011. According to the press release:

“the event will include demonstrations on what’s new in Vectorworks Architect, Landmark, Spotlight and Fundamentals software, as well as feature videos and information about popular Vectorworks plug-ins. Industry experts will be on hand to answer questions, and attendees will have the opportunity to network with other designers and share their experience through social media.”

I don’t know much about Nemetscheck or its products. But what I do know is that the company has nailed the process of conducting online virtual events down to a science. Their last online event I attended was sheer pleasure and the flow was like clockwork. I have attended absolutely dreadful webinars and virtual events where people went on rambling till they figured out who was to speak next. And then there is always the case where a speaker or his/her voice goes missing. Or the presentation goes missing from the computer and they mouse around trying to find it.
