3D Printing Jewelery Wax Patterns

Most people don’t realize it, but 3D printing has been part of their lives without them even knowing it. Take jewelery for example. Not too many years ago jewelers hand crafted master patterns of their jewelery designs which were then used to create rubber or silicon molds. Wax was then injected into these molds to create a wax patterns which were then used in the investment casting process to cast gold.

3D Systems launched the ProJet MJP 2500W wax printer in 2017 and completely changed the game. We eliminated the need for master patterns and molds alltogether. Jewelers can now design their pieces using 3D design software and directly print high-resolution wax patterns using our wax printers.
