GStarCAD Gets “Ribbonized”

Chinese AutoCAD clone developer Gstarsoft sent me a couple of screen shots of GStarCAD 2011 that show that it has been “ribbonized”.

I think the less I say about the font used in the ribbon the better. I hope this has something to do with the Chinese font used on the computer where the screen shots were taken. According to the press release:

Designers can interact with the user interface more efficiently than ever before. With contextual ribbon tabs, users can easily choose many context-sensitive tabs, and the tools whenever they need are always at their fingertips.

But nevertheless the old menu interface will be kept as an option “for the comfort and convenience of various CAD users“.
