Justifying Cheap

Today I received the following email from an Alibre customer.

Hi, I’m interested in your STL converter for Alibre. Does it work with Alibre’s latest version? Would you do it cheaper than $95? As I only paid this much for the entire Alibre software package and could not justify paying that much just for a plug in.

And to think that my Alibre Design add-ons were priced at $195 before Alibre went on their price cutting spree. I politely replied to the person saying that it would not be possible.

Maybe I should get my prices back to $195 where they belong, sign up as an Alibre Design reseller and offer Alibre Design Standard free along with every license of my Alibre Design add-on. That may solve the “justification” problem a bit. 😉
