News Alert – ODA Platform Renamed to Teigha

The ODA today announced the re-branding of the ODA Platform to Teigha (pronounced tee-ga). The lack of “DWG” in the new brand name is on purpose as the ODA attempts to shake off its roots and reinvent itself as a provider of technologies for technical graphics applications.

I had first heard about this re-branding exercise almost a year ago. teigha.com, .net, .org and other extensions were registered by the ODA as early as 28-May-2009.
