Additive Manufacturing Hub Inaugurated in Goa

Today (Goa’s 61st Liberation Day)  Dr. Pramod Sawant, the honourable Chief Minister of Goa, in the presence of the honourable IT Minister, Rohan Khaunte and other dignitaries, inaugurated the Additive Manufacturing Hub in the IT Department in Altinho, Panaji. 3D Systems along with our channel partner Shree Rapid Technologies has been involved in this initiative and we plan to offer our support to make it a success in the coming weeks and months.

Currently, the Additive Manufacturing Hub has a Figure 4 Standalone 3D printer and can offer companies and start-ups in Goa prototyping and small to medium batch production services. Companies can greatly reduce the time they take to get products to market, reduce inventory, make quick design changes and completely eliminate the need for expensive tooling using end-use production parts printed by the Figure 4 Standalone.
