CADFaster 3D Graphics Performance

At Autodesk University I met Tuomas Holma from CADFaster, a company with a very interesting solution to share, annotate, co-view and collaborate in real time. To know more about CADFaster I strongly urge you to read this post on SolidSmack.com.

This post is not about the CADFaster collaboration technology. But rather it is about something in their technology that I found absolutely fantastic – the 3D graphics performance. I found it to be blazing fast and asked Tuomas which graphics engine they were using. He replied that it was their own home grown engine. To which I replied that they should seriously think about getting into the graphics engine business and give people like Tech Soft 3D and Redway3D a run for their money. Take a look.
