Investment Casting and Design Complexity

It would be practically impossible to design a set of tools to produce this wax pattern using the traditional investment casting method. But by 3D printing the pattern directly in wax, it is now possible to cast virtually any geometry. This is the exact same reason jewellery designs started to get extremely complicated and intricate after 3D printing was introduced to the industry years ago. The same thing will happen to the investment casting industry as well.

After the successful launch of our ProJet MJP 2500 IC wax 3D printer in Rajkot a few days ago, today our partner Monotech launched the printer in Pune, another hub of investment casting. The response has been amazing.
