Think3 Goes Bankrupt

As of this writing the number of comments on my post “Scott Brighton On Think3’s Turnaround” has hit 70 with some comments from Think3 customers from Italy following the court case there. Yesterday, one of my readers notified us that think3.com was taken down. I asked Scott Think3 CEO Brighton about it and he pointed me to http://think3.versata.com, a sub-domain of  Versata’a web site. Think3 customers have been leaving comments containing the emails that they have received from Versata notifying them about the happennings and pointing them to the new web site.

As of this writing the Think3 web site is up and running at the Versata sub-domain.

However, if you visit think3.com you will find this splashed all over the home page.

This takes you to a page that reads:

BY MEANS OF THE DECISION NO. 69/2011, LODGED ON 14 APRIL 2011, THE COURT OF BOLOGNA DECLARED THINK3 INC. BANKRUPT. AS A CONSEQUENCE, ALL ASSETS OF THINK3 (INCLUDING THIS WEBSITE) ARE MANAGED BY THE APPOINTED TRUSTEE, DR. A. FERRI OF BOLOGNA.

THIS WEBSITE IS THE ONLY OFFICIAL AND AUTHORISED WEBSITE OF THINK3 INC.

EMBEZZLEMENT OF GOODS OF THE BANKRUPTCY (INCLUDING COPYING THIS WEBSITE OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THINK3) CONSTITUTES A CRIMINAL OFFENCE.

Things are getting interesting, to put it mildly. Let’s see how long the Think3 Versata subdomain stays up.

Update (23-Apr-2011)

As of this morning http://think3.versata.com is down.
