Autodesk University 2009 – Day 1 – Keynote

This is my first Autodesk University and its virtual. Virtual because I am sitting on the other side of the planet in India logged on to the virtual version of Autodesk University. The real version is happening in Las Vegas.

I just “virtually attended” the keynote speech and welcome address by Autodesk CEO Carl Bass along with CTO Jeff Kowalski and Technical Evangelist Lynn Allen. According AU Virtual description of the keynote address, the speakers were to “explore the latest breakthroughs in cross-disciplinary collaboration, realistic visualizations, sustainable design, and cloud computing, and also look far into the technology future.” And that is precisely what they did.
